Guidance Survey


Home Information Packs were introduced in England and Wales on 1st August 2007 for 4 bedroom properties and above and 3 bedroom properties were introduced on the 10th September 2007 with the remainder of the property market to follow shortly afterwards.  Home Information Packs have been introduced to help speed up and simplify the home buying process, everyone involved in buying and selling a home will need to know about Home Information Packs (HIPs).


Guidance Survey works in conjunction with Hipstar in providing a Home Information Pack (HIP). Hipstar is a member of the Network Data Holdings group that also includes Network Surveyors Ltd, Network Conveyancing Ltd and Network Data Ltd. This combination of skills and experience allows them to deliver a holistic HIP solution to independent estate agents, mortgage intermediaries and other customer-facing businesses.


Guidance Survey is able to offer total portability of the HIP. The HIP is yours and can travel with you if you switch estate agents or decide to sell independently.
