Accessibility Policy
This site has been designed with the needs of visually impaired users in mind. As far as possible, a text-based only version is available, to facilitate the use of screen readers.
The pages have also been designed to fit into an 800X600 Browser window in order to ease visibility. The whole site is best viewed with Internet Explorer v5.5 and above. Content has also been tested with the latest versions of Netscape and Opera, although some elements may not display correctly in earlier versions of these browsers. The "design elements" of the site (background image, colour text and navigation buttons are contained in a central CSS (cascading style sheet) file. In order for pages to render (redraw) more quickly, you should ensure that caching is enabled in your browser. In Internet Explorer this is achieved by clicking on the TOOLS menu, then INTERNET OPTIONS, then on the SETTINGS button (halfway down on the right-hand side), under "Check for newer versions of stored pages", make sure "Automatically" is selected. Although not essential, by enabling the cache in this way, page transitions will be smoother.
Use is made throughout the site of Adobe Acrobat PDF format files. If these files do not open up in a browser window when you double-click on the appropriate icon, you will need to download the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This is free software and available from Adobe's website. Click on the link below to download.
If you have any comments, please email the Webmaster using the link at the bottom right-hand corner of every page.
