Polimoon Packaging has been a leading name in packaging for fifty years. As a European developer and producer of products manufactured in plastic they supply a wide range of packaging for customers in consumer, chemical and medical industries. They employ over 2000 people throughout 11 countries.
 
 
Problem / Brief_________________________________
 
Polimoon strive to achieve a high degree of efficiency and quality in all aspects of their operations to maintain a competitive edge.
 
To continually ensure effective communication internally and externally Polimoon need reliable conference facilities. Previously the company used a basic in house system, but this would only allow small groups to participate and was complex to use. Furthermore the system was costly and unable to meet business demands.    
In addition to this, Polimoon’s international call costs from mobile phones were escalating at an alarming rate.
 
Polimoon urgently required a conference system which would be very cost effective, reliable, and in particular, user friendly. The company also sought a solution to reduce international telecom costs. 
 
 
The Cambridge Tele.com Solution__________________
 
For conferencing requirements Polimoon chose the MeetMe Conference Service from Cambridge Tele.com. The company selected the service as it is simple and cost effective whilst providing a wide range of features. More recently, it has introduced Cambridge Tele.com’s Mobile International Access Gateway providing cost savings on all international calls from mobile phones.

Polimoon has been using the MeetMe Conference system for some time now. Initially a controlled facility, the system has proven so easy to use employees are now able to set up conference calls internally, externally or both. Potentially the entire local workforce of 900 users could be on the system at one time.

Another valued benefit for Polimoon is reducing their international call costs from mobile phones by a massive 70% through the Mobile International Access Gateway service.
